It is really easy to go to Porte de Versailles from The Montalembert on the Left Bank, barely 10 minutes of metro. You just have to take the line 12 which is at the Rue du Bac station, and take the metro direction Mairie d’Issy.
During the exhibition you will see the different steps of the "life" of the famous boat, The Titanic: From its construction, its inauguration, its departure, to the life on board, but also its collision with an iceberg which led to the death of thousands of people but also the lost of this marvelous ship which has been describes as the most secure boat ever made.
Everyone is impressed by the tragic destiny of this boat, the kids and the grownups, the great work of the archeologists on the wreck has allowed to discover a large number of everyday objects which let us imagine the life on board but also to notice the difference of standard of living between the wealthy people and the low classes who lived in the lower parties of the ship.
