An exhibition in Autumn 2012, dedicated to the great Italian Renaissance master Raphael and his work in Rome.
Produced in partnership with the Prado Museum in Madrid, the exhibition at the Louvre places these works produced at the end of his short life on show for the first time and features works by the painters who surrounded him during that time such as Giulio Romano and Gian Francesco Penni. Visitors can admire the church altarpieces, private devotional paintings, portraits of pageantry, as well as drawings by Raphael.
